Andra Sullivan has been teaching flute and piano for over 20 years. She earned her music degree from Northern Michigan University in 1986 and has also studied a summer at Interlochen National Music Camp. Andra enjoys performing piano with the Superior Swing Band and playing her flute in the Marquette City Band.

Frank Jeffries has been playing trumpet for more than 30 years. He was first player in in concert and marching band, concert orchestra, musical pit orchestra and jazz band in Ann Arbor, MI. He also studied at Interlochen Music Camp and was top player there as well. He played two years for Colorado State University Jazz Band and taught four years in Loveland. He also played four years as third trumpet in the Marquette Symphony Orchestra.

Melissa Salagovich has been playing clarinet for almost 10 years. She was first player in her high school symphony concert band. She also played Alto Saxophone four years in marching band and two years in Jazz band. She studied clarinet one summer at Blue Lake Band Camp, one year at Petosky Honors Band and one year pit orchestra as second and third player.

Mindy Schmidt has just joined Jim’s team of teachers. She has been playing alto saxophone for more than 20 years with experience in baritone sax as well. Mindy has been the recipient of the Directors Band Award, has experience in symphonic, concert, jazz and marching bands, and experience with solo and ensemble competitions. Mindy has also performed in Carnegie Hall in New York City. Mindy will be teaching alto and baritone sax.

Dave Ziegner has been playing electric and acoustic guitar, bass and piano professionally for 35 years. He received his bachelors in Classical Bass at NMU. For 10 years Dave played in San Francisco, California performing Jazz and Latin music. While he was there he played with many well known Jazz and pop artists. He has now been teaching all his instruments for over 15 years.

Jake Kuhlman has been playing banjo for 18 years, guitar 15 years and mandolin for 10 years. Although he has a Bachelor’s in Environmental Science, Jake's passion is teaching and playing music for his band Chasin' Steel. Jake has over 10 years teaching experience in all his instruments.

Dan Stevens has been playing drums and guitar since he was 13 years old. He has been teaching drums for the past 12 years teaching: drumset, sight reading, drum rudiments, and in all styles. Dan teaches a full range of students from 10 to 60 with his philosophy, "it’s never to late to learn." Dan is also a member of two local bands and a sub for many others.

Bobby Hayes has been playing guitar, bass and mandolin for over 35 years. He has traveled the world three times now playing with big names such as BB King and Buddy Guy. He won the 2004 Wisconsin State County Music Championship with the Yellow Dog Band. He has been teaching guitar for 25 years.

Eric Dombrowski has been playing guitar for 10 years. His family raised him in a music business and now Eric currently attends Northern Michigan University as a music major to continue to work on his skills. Eric has been teaching guitar for five years.
